In a quiet regional town, old legends speak of a hidden hamlet deep in the mountains. Curious to uncover the truth, Itsuki Yakumo and his clubmates set off on a nearby afternoon hike, but things soon take a turn for the worse.

“W-Where are we?”

They awaken in a fog-drenched ruin, with only crumbling buildings and a heavy silence that feels like time has stopped. There’s no sign of life either, yet traces of human presence remain. This is Himeyoshi, the long-forgotten village, sealed off from the outside world.

No one remembers how they got there, and worse, no matter how far they run, the mist turns them back, as if the village won’t let them leave. Strange things begin to happen, with his clubmates acting out in bizarre ways, consumed by dreams and desires blurring between reality and illusion. Itsuki, too, finds himself haunted by unexplained visions that stir something dark within him…

That’s when she appears. Kagome, a mysterious girl who talks in wet, sweet whispers, reveals Himeyoshi’s true nature: To escape this place, one among them must stay behind to become a sacrifice. Unwilling to accept that fate, Itsuki begins searching for another way out, but the deeper he explores the village’s secrets, the tighter its grip becomes on his body and mind…
