Summer in the remote countryside, surrounded by nature.
The world has met its end, and it’s just the two, alone.

Yuji, after graduating from university, did find a job. But the severe working conditions took a toll on his health, and he quit within the first six months.

After deliberate contemplation, he moved to a vacant house in the countryside, which once belonged to his grandparents.

During his recovery, he spent his days filming the bits and pieces of life in the countryside, posting them on online video sites.

With a stroke of luck, the videos went viral. However, by the time he could finally make a living as a video creator, the world was struck by a global pandemic.

While people all over the world succumbed to death, Yuji, fortunately, never got infected.

The other residents in his village weren’t as lucky, though, and they all fell to the illness. Once he sent the only other villager aside from himself off, he thought…

“I’ll die too, one day.”

And he lived his life without motivation.

That is, until he meets a wandering girl by the name of Mio, who reminds him of the joys of living his life.
